Thank you for your interest in HITECH, a community of committed management, dedicated faculty, staff and motivated students. HITECH offers 6 UG courses leading to B.E and B.Tech degrees and also 4 PG courses leading to M.E., MBA and MCA degrees. Education of the highest order aims at training, guiding, inspiring, motivating and leading young men and women to become successful leaders to serve the country better.

We at HITECH provide the students all facilities and help to reach their destination. The laboratories have been setup with the state-of-the-art equipment to carry out regular exercises, fundamental and applied research. The discipline is the backbone of any system and the college is duty bound to produce hardcore professionals who can meet challenges in the industry. We endeavor to equip our students with both technical and management skills, so that they may contribute to the industry being excellent professionals.

We are also committed to traditional Indian values and culture for students to keep a connect with their identity, but we also recognize the need for a global perspective in life. Educational Institutions are a plenty, all of which impart a learning, but it is our prayer that our students go out into the world with the strength, not only to reach and excel in their professional aspirations, but to remain beautiful human beings. PRINCIPAL PROFILE

He obtained his B.E (Mech) from Vellore Engineering College, Vellore (Presently VIT) and M.E(Prod) from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore. He also completed his Ph.D Research work in the area of Surface Machining from Anna university of Technology, Coimbatore in the year 2012. He has put in more than 22 years of teaching experience in Engineering Colleges in which 5 years as principal. Has published many papers in reputed Journals and Conferences and guided more than 60 B.E., Projects and 10 M.E., Thesis. He is also a reviewer for five International Journals namely Journal of Mechanical Science and Technology, Journal of Machining Science and Technology, Gazi University of Journal and science, British Journal of Applied Science and Technology and Composites: Part B.

He has attended more than 25 Seminars, FDP’s, Workshops and Conferences and has organized and coordinated more than 12 programmes which includes National Conferences and AICTE sponsored Seminars, taken positions as Convenor. He has held Academic position as Member of Board of studies. He is an approved Ph.D Research guide of Anna University, Chennai.

He is a life member in Indian Society of Technical Education and Member in society of Automotive Engineers. He has Guided three batches of students, who participated in Virtual Baja SAE India for, out of which one batch have participated in Baja SAE India event held at pithampur after fabricating the All Terrain vehicle. He has also organized various events and programmes for SAE members.He is a Fellow of Institution of Engineers.

He has also commendable achievements during his tenure as Placement Head, successfully trained and placed many students besides developing number of MoU’s with leading corporates. He has coordinated Tamilnadu State Level Placement Programme (TNSLPP) organized by Anna University Chennai for M/s CTS Ltd., Chennai, M/s Infosys Ltd., M/s Accenture Ltd.,Bangalore.
