Hindusthan Educational and Charitable Trust (HECT) established in the year 1992 with a vision to serve the poor & needy of the society. This realization embarked the journey of HECT - in 1998 with the establishment of Hindusthan College of Arts & Science (HICAS), one of the finest Arts & Science college in Tamilnadu which remains the flagship institute of the group.

Hindusthan Institute of Technology (HITECH) was started in the year of 2007 by the great industrialist and philanthropist, Thiru. T.S.R. Khannaiyann. It is an Autonomous Institution dedicated to educating and preparing men and women for leadership in industry, government, and educational institutions.
The College has well-furnished classrooms, state-of-the-art laboratories, computer centres and a well-stocked library. Separate hostels with all the modern amenities are provided for men and women. The campus consists of lush green lawns, a playground, GYM and indoor game facilities. A fleet of vehicles caters to the transport needs.
HITECH believes not only in educating the students, but also grooming characters with moral and ethical values, thus building the nation. The emphasis is on transformational leadership — introducing innovative training methodologies to guide students towards the road to success.
The College provides ample facilities for the development of an integrated personality. Its fine library contains more than thirty thousand books and over 500 national & international journals, with an IIT-NPTEL Video Library. Sports facilities including tennis, basketball, cricket, gymnasium, badminton and table tennis are available on campus.

Management
Shri T. S. R. Khannaiyann, Founder & Chairman of HET, is a visionary industrialist who established the Trust in 1992 to provide quality education. Today, it serves over 22,000 students across diverse fields.
Smt. T. R. K. Sarasuwathi is the Managing Trustee of Hindusthan Education Trust. She plays a key role in the Trust’s growth and social initiatives, focusing on education, welfare, and community development.
Dr. K. Priya is the Executive Trustee & Secretary of Hindusthan Education Trust. She oversees daily operations, manages multiple institutions, and drives academic excellence and innovation.
Er. K. Sakthivel is a Trustee of Hindusthan Education Trust. An engineering graduate, he plays a key role in managing and expanding the Trust’s educational institutions, ensuring quality education and growth.
He obtained his B.E (Mech) from Vellore Engineering College (Presently VIT) and M.E (Prod) from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore. He completed his Ph.D in the area of Surface Machining from Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore in 2012.
He has put in more than 22 years of teaching experience in Engineering Colleges, including 5 years as Principal. He has published many papers in reputed Journals and Conferences and guided more than 60 B.E. Projects and 10 M.E. Theses. He is a reviewer for five International Journals.
He has attended more than 25 Seminars, FDP's, Workshops and Conferences and organized over 12 programmes including National Conferences and AICTE sponsored Seminars. He holds Academic positions as Member of Board of Studies and is an approved Ph.D Research Guide of Anna University, Chennai.
He is a life member of the Indian Society of Technical Education and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers. He has also commendable achievements as Placement Head, successfully coordinating the Tamilnadu State Level Placement Programme (TNSLPP) with leading corporates including CTS, Infosys, and Accenture.

An initial step taken by a great visionary Sri. T.S.R.Khannaiyann, who nurtured a strong conviction to provide the best of education to the society today has resulted in a strong educational realm. HINDUSTHAN Group today has best infrastructure facilities with the application of varied teaching methodology. With highly qualified and dedicated teachers, the group has grown leaps and bounds and will continue to do so looking for both horizontal and vertical growth patterns. Presently, we have more than 1000 teaching staff and almost more than 500 non teaching staff.
